Our story really starts 6 years ago, in 2012. Back then I was living the life in Melbourne. I worked hard, played hard, and studied hard. That (fateful) year, I was also a bridesmaid at a uni friend’s wedding in Auckland.
It was at that wedding that Scotty and I reconnected and after a year of long distance I finally succumbed to the lure of love and moved to Otorohanga where Scott owned an established Chiropractic business.
He made being self-employed look so easy (not really!), and so I decided to give it a go. And with a simple text only ad in the Waitomo News, my business was born.
From the beginning, I wanted to provide hr and marketing support to small to medium businesses who didn’t have the resources to have an inhouse function. I love talking, writing, and meeting people, so I was destined for a career in HR. I’m also passionate about the critical role people play in business success. I know people are worth investing it, and I’m proud to be able to help our local businesses to attract, engage and retain top people.
And we’re now five years on from that one little ad in the paper and we’re still going strong! We have provided hr and /or marketing support to over 100 businesses, and have cemented ourselves as true partners to so many of them.
And we’re not stopping yet!
