Admin Superstar
Mayor’s Taskforce for Jobs (MTFJ) Waitomo is a partnership between MTFJ, MSD and Waitomo District Council. Number Twelve Youth Hub has been awarded the contract for delivery of the programme.
The MTFJ programme primarily supports our rangatahi (16-24) who are not in education, employment or training, disabled young people disadvantaged in the labour market and those who are covid displaced.
We are looking for a superstar to support young people through their journey;
- considering work options
- being work ready
- meeting employers;
- meeting pre employment requirements
- maintain ongoing engagement with employer and employee.
You will thrive on building and creating relationships and networks across our district with businesses and employers, raising awareness of our offerings and candidates, front foot vacancies and build on existing arrangements.
There is a fair amount of ‘admin’ to support this programme. You will;
- be confident in your understanding of business and employers in our district
- be proficient and creative in Microsoft software
- have excellent verbal and written communication
- be able to work autonomously.
Health and safety, financial management and compliance are key to the success of this community programme so experience in these areas is an advantage.
No two days will be the same – you will be coach, adviser, supporter and advocate. You will need to develop open, honest and trusting relationships. Importantly you will be patient, passionate and enthusiastic.
This role is not always 8am-5pm, 40 hours a week, there is running around, chasing up, driving to appointments and a lot of text messages. You will be provided with the right tools to do your job.
The role is also fixed term, to align with MTFJ contract expiry of 30 June 2022.
Apply online today and send your CV to nicki@eight73consulting.co.nz and tell us what you can bring to this role that will empower young people to succeed. All enquiries and applications must go to Nicki Raffills, eight73 Consulting, 07 873 7104.
